We were delighted to officially welcome Sydney Swans AFLW players Ally Morphett and Julie O’Sullivan to our House this week, as they signed on as Ambassadors for Ronald McDonald House Sydney.
Their visit marked the beginning of what we know will be a meaningful and impactful partnership.
A Warm Welcome
During their time at the House, Ally and Julie enjoyed a tour of our facilities and spent time meeting the dedicated staff and volunteers who bring our mission to life every day. From heartfelt conversations to shared smiles, it was a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect with two athletes who are as inspiring off the field as they are on it.
Inspiring Impact On and Off the Field
Simone Daher, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Sydney, shared her excitement about the partnership:
“It’s a genuine privilege to welcome Ally and Julie to our family. What you achieve on the field is inspiring, but the difference you’re making off the field is truly powerful. By standing alongside us, you’re bringing hope and strength to families with sick or injured children when they need it most.”
From the moment they arrived, Ally and Julie’s sincerity and genuine desire to be involved was clear. They took the time to learn about the families we support, asked thoughtful questions, and expressed a heartfelt commitment to making a real difference.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly excited about what this partnership will achieve. With Ally and Julie standing alongside us as Ambassadors, we look forward to creating more awareness, more connection, and more support for the families who rely on our House during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Together, we’re building hope, strength, and community, both on and off the field.
