We keep children and young people safe in our spaces and do not tolerate any kind of abuse.

Ronald McDonald House Sydney is committed to safeguarding children and young people and creating environments where they feel safe, respected, valued and heard.

We believe every child and young person has the right to be protected from harm, abuse, neglect and exploitation. We are committed to listening to children and young people, taking their concerns seriously and empowering them to participate in decisions that affect them.

We expect all employees, volunteers, contractors and partners to uphold the highest standards of behaviour and responsibility in preventing, identifying and reporting concerns relating to child safety and wellbeing. Safeguarding children and young people is everyone’s responsibility.

Speak Up Service

The Speak Up Service provides a confidential and safe way for anyone to raise concerns about conduct, child safety, wellbeing or other matters that may impact Ronald McDonald House Sydney and the people we support.
