We’re here to support families, giving sick or injured children better access to the care they need. Our House in Randwick is more than a place to sleep, We surround families with a community of support and the resources they need.
Your Room
Our House features 31 thoughtfully designed rooms, accommodating families of 2 to 7 people, including children. Each room is equipped to offer a restful retreat, with some rooms featuring private bathrooms, while others share communal facilities. If you or your loved ones require a room designed for disability access, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Storage for Your Belongings and Food
To make your stay even more convenient, we provide personal lockers and fridge boxes where you can securely store your food and belongings. Our community pantry is also available, stocked with essentials, so you can prepare meals with ease.
Home for Dinners
We understand that preparing meals can be challenging when you’re focused on your child’s care. That’s why we run our Home for Dinner Program three times a week, where our Food Service Coordinator and corporate volunteers prepare home-cooked meals for you and your family. It’s an opportunity to enjoy a delicious, nutritious meal without the added stress, and to connect with other families who understand what you’re going through.
Our communal kitchen and living area are the heart of our House, where families come together to cook, eat, and relax. Whether you’re sharing stories with other parents or simply unwinding with a cup of tea, these spaces are designed to foster a sense of community and belonging
Take a breath of fresh air in our outdoor area, a serene space where children can play and families can enjoy some quiet time together. In addition, we offer a wellness program to help you care for yourself during your stay. This includes access to hairdressers and complimentary 24-hour gym memberships, so you can maintain your well-being.
We believe in providing moments of joy and relaxation during your stay. Throughout the year, we offer families special incentives, including passes to the cinema, aquarium, and occasionally, tickets to sporting games. These outings provide a welcome distraction and an opportunity to create positive memories together.
